The four year old thought process

Had to buy new shoes for the kids today which is always a blissful event. Ended up going four places and found shoes for older and middle child but none for youngest. On the way home, all three kids said thanks for buying them new clothes and shoes. Seconds lapse and then my youngest said, "Um, No thank you mommy I mean.....Because you didn't buy me a new anything." So then somehow I ended up pulling into the drive through at Krispy Kreme to get the kids each a doughnut and this weird electrical noise happened to which my husband asked, "Which one of you touched something?" Denials from all and then the four year old said, "Calm down Dad, it was coming from another car." Calm down? LOL That kid kills me.
