Soooooooooo we made it to Disneyland. Man, it was seriously crowded while we were there which is unusual for October. Usually its a tomb at that place and you can basically walk onto to any ride. Not so during the 50th - lines were up to 60-90 minutes long. Ugh. Also, it was hot... way too hot for October. Not that you should feel sorry for me mind you, I was at Disneyland for crying out loud! It was fun but now that its over I realized that we pretty much rushed through the whole week and didn't slow down to enjoy where we were more. It was really fun though, I think the kids enjoyed it more this time than any previous time.
I did almost get into fisticuffs with an overly large woman who decided that ramming me with her kids stroller was her best option in getting the mass crowds surrounding us to move faster after the fireworks. I don't really ever recall a time I wanted to throttle someone yet couldn't because of the good example I wanted to provide for my children. (Of course there are some that might argue that there is benefit in showing the children that ramming someone repeatedly and intentionally with a stroller will indeed earn you a punch in the mouth.) Alas, I refrained. Although ultimately content with the knowledge I did the mature thing, I still feel pangs of resentment I didn't knock Ursula the sea witch out right in the middle of Main Street.
